The Reality of Night Demons: The spiritual spouse is primarily a spirit of sexual perversion. Whenever we are talking about demons, always remember not to put too much merit into the common names that they are called by. Spirits go by many names; even God, Jesus, and Satan are identified by numerous names and titles in the Bible. Night demons—often referred to as incubus or succubus—are no more than spirits of lust. They are powerful, high-ranking demons that use the portal of your dreams to launch devastating attacks on your physical life.

I. Do They Really Exist & What is Their Purpose?
Maybe you are wondering how it is possible for demon spirits to have intercourse with humans. Throughout the Bible, there is plenty of evidence that spirits can take on physical forms.
1. The Genesis of Spiritual Marriage
Genesis 6:1-2 reads, "And it came to pass... that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose." In laymen’s terms, demon spirits had sex with human women. Furthermore, in Genesis 18 & 19, the Lord and two angels manifest in physical form—eating, resting, and having their feet washed. Spirits absolutely can and do manifest in physical forms.
2. Recognizing the Manifestation
Whether you are being attacked is usually pretty obvious. They manifest to your conscious mind, causing you to experience all the stimulation of physical intercourse. Some people claim to actually see spirit bodies. These spirits are often violent—beating, choking, or restraining you. Think of them as an extremely abusive sex partner or rapist.
3. Overwhelming Unnatural Urges
These demons cause sexual urges so strong they completely take over your mind, usually when you are lying down. It seems only an orgasm will provide relief. THESE ARE NOT NORMAL. While natural arousal for your spouse is God-given, urges that come suddenly without external stimuli, requiring an intense battle to control, are demonic.
4. Their True Purpose: Spiritual Impregnation
According to Genesis 6:4, their assignment is to impregnate you. Once they sexually arouse or violently subdue you, you let your conscious guards down. They plant their evils in your subconscious mind. They steal your virtue, leaving you emotionally drained, and in its place, they plant seeds of perversion and fear, actively undermining your faith and relationship with God.
II. Where Do They Come From? (Doors 1 to 6)
Night demons are spirits of sexual lust. Lust is the willingness to meet a natural need in an illicit or sinful manner. Deliverance DOES NOT WORK with Disobedience. Here are the first 6 common open doors.
1. Fornication
This covers any act of perversion including adultery, incest, and homosexuality. You relinquish your authority over sexual lust when you willfully involve yourself with sexual perversion.
2. Masturbation
Masturbation is particularly inviting to night demons because you sin against your own body and subject it to evil. You become a slave to sin through this act.
3. Pornography
Pornography specifically aims to contaminate your mind. Since our conscious minds shut down during sleep, whatever we fill our minds with during our waking hours is what will reign over us while we sleep.
4. Unforgiveness and Bitterness
Unforgiveness cuts you off from God’s grace and His ultimate protection. Bitterness gives access to every demon of hell to invade your temple and your life.
5. Carnality
Spending too much time on non-spiritual activities weakens your spirit man. We are vulnerable while sleeping; if we don’t build our spirit man up during the day, it won't be strong enough to resist evil at night.
6. Fear and Doubt
These spirits thrive on fear. They want you to be afraid because fear paralyzes you and robs you of your faith, ultimately severing your relationship with God and your purpose.
III. The Hidden Access Points (Doors 7 to 12)
You must be willing to examine your heart and lifestyle to find these open doors, then slam them shut for good in the freedom of Christ.
7. Witchcraft & Manipulation
Rebellion is as witchcraft. This includes astrology, superstitions, and importantly, manipulation. Manipulating our children or spouses goes against God's way and invites night demons to attack.
8. Molestation
Being molested attaches spirits of perversion, subjects the victim to a mindset of victimization (perfect for aggressive night demons), and introduces severe fear into the victim's life.
9. Abuse
Since these spirits are likened to abusive spouses and rapists, being a victim of domestic abuse creates a very comfortable and familiar environment for such demons to inhabit.
10. Emotional Wounds
Demons take advantage of weaknesses. Being emotionally wounded leaves us weak and vulnerable to their attacks. This is why total emotional healing is crucial.
11. Soul Ties
If you are soul-tied to someone or someplace that is subject to sexual perversion or fear, it creates an open door. When a soul tie is active, it allows an easy transfer of demonic spirits to and from you.
12. Spiritual Warfare Exhaustion
Spiritual warfare causes spiritual fatigue. Because night demons exploit vulnerability, you must be properly replenished in the Word and Worship after engaging in warfare, especially against spirits of sexual perversion.
IV. 7 Steps to Total Deliverance
Remembering that the purpose of an Incubus/Succubus spirit is to impregnate you, the main key to deliverance is to abort and kill what they have planted.
Step 1: Renounce and Destroy
You must verbally renounce not only the spirits but their works. You need to verbally destroy and murder everything they have conceived within you. If you fail to do this, they will always have access.
Step 2: Immediate Abortion
If you have another encounter during your deliverance process, IMMEDIATELY ABORT WHAT THEY HAVE PLANTED IN YOU. Treat this spiritual action like taking a "morning-after pill" in the realm of the spirit.
Step 3: Challenge Awake Attacks
DON’T EVER LET AN ATTACK CARRY ON! If overwhelming urges hit you while awake, verbally challenge them: "I know what you are. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I command you to leave in Jesus' Name! I do not receive your seed."
Step 4: Kill the Dream Seed
Purpose in your mind to wake up if a sex dream starts. When you wake up, abort it immediately! DO NOT REPEAT the dream to anyone, and do not rehearse it in your mind. Speaking it gives it life; casting it down brings death to their seed.
Step 5: Consecrate Yourself
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CONSECRATE YOURSELF! Do not willfully sin. Commit to fasting and praying, and omit every evil influence from your life—people, places, habits, and ESPECIALLY the media.
Step 6: Study Your Enemy
Study about spiritual strongholds and sexual perversions. Have a complete understanding of true intimacy versus sexual perversion, recognizing that any weakness invites attack.
Step 7: Maintain Your Guard
Lust is ever-present. Even after deliverance, if you become spiritually weak, it is possible to face an attack. Watch your consecration, your media exposure, and eliminate subtle witchcraft (like horoscopes or manipulation) from your life.
